Lewis Resources

C.S. Lewis was one of J.R.R Tolkien's closest friends. They were fellow members of an informal society called The Inklings and greatly impacted one another's literary efforts, though their styles were quite different.  Tolkien once said that The Lord of the Rings would have never been published without the encouragement of C.S. Lewis.

In December 2005, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, the most well-known of Lewis's Chronicles of Narnia, will be released in theaters. In honor of this event, we have some special goodies for you. Look below to find a helpful thematic unit study on The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. You can use this to incorporate some of the educational elements in your study of the book or in preparation for the movie. You will also find links to articles written by Amelia Harper regarding the books and the new movie--including an interview she did with Douglas Gresham, the stepson of C.S. Lewis and the Co-producer of the new movie. In addition, you will find some of the amazing C.S. Lewis resources that we have for sale.
